This 1989 Porsche Carrera 911 Manual was at auction here in Japan on the 9th March 2012.

We actually attended the auction and checked the car for quality and were ready to answer any questions from potential buyers. We have included pictures of this 1989 Porsche 911 at auction on the day. The original Japanese auction sheet and translation is included later in the post below. It must be noted that this car had no oil leaks and was determined by us to be in great condition, we rated the car in buy condition.

Output on this 1989 Porsche Carrera 911 model was re-rated to 214 horsepower in its final year (1989) due to minor engine-calibration changes. It was the final year for this body style with the Porsche 911 964 launched in 1990.

We find these cars almost daily in Japan though not all 911s are as good as this, obviously, this is why we are on the ground at the auction and checking it personally. We actually have to walk away from more of these old Porsche 911 Carreras that we actually try to purchase, if you know old Porsche’s I am sure you can relate to this.
