This fantastic was recently at the Used Car Auctions here in Japan and some one was lucky to pick up a bargain.
Only around 250 Alpina B8s were produced though to 1998 on the E36 platform and that is including this station wagon version along with the 4 door sedan. This is a rare find and being from Japan it is in very nice condition indeed.
Power plant in this particular used car is the excellent 333 Horsepower V8 built by Alpina matched with the 6 speed manual transmission – this is a great drivers car, and ideally suited to long touring as the Alpina badging suggests.
Other Alpinas that have been though the used car auctions recently include the BMW Alpina 3500cc B11, the BMW Alpina B10 V8 and also the huge BMW Alpina V12 B12 version.
